Montenegro shares borders from west to east with four countries (14 km of borders with Croatia, 225 km with Bosnia and Herzegovina, 203 km with Serbia, part of which borders Kosovo, and 172 km with Albania), while in the south the country is open to the Adriatic.
In the highest mountains the climate is alpine with frequent and persistent snow throughout the winter. Along the coast the climate is mild with hot and dry summers and winters are mild and rainy.... Montenegro's seawater has temperatures between 14/15°C in winter and 24/25°C in summer.
